Why you’ll love this snow peas recipe
There’s no way anyone could turn their nose up at these glazed snow peas because they’re perfect. In every way. Fresh, green, with the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness.
You can totally substitute other vegetables in this recipe if that’s what you have. I’ve made half broccoli, half snow peas before and they turned out just a great. Just make sure to chop the vegetables so they’ll all cook in the same amount of time.

Frequently asked questions
While they are both crispy and tender, sweet peas have a slightly sweeter flavor. Snow peas have a flatter pod than a sweet pea, but both have edible pods, while english pea pods are not edible.
You really just want to make sure clean them and remove the string from the pod. You can snip the ends of the pod to make them look more clean cut if you would like.

Melissa, this looks so good! I love snow peas and that garlicky glaze is making me super, super happy. And one month! Eek!!!
I always mix up snap peas & snow peas (…or are they the same thing?). And green beans. And any other bean that is green and has a pod. I don’t know why it’s so hard to keep track of them! Anyway, this sounds like a really simple and delicious preparation of snow peas. 🙂
I am the same way forgetting the different kind of pea names. Well, I’d be happy if this was the only thing I am forgetting these days 😉
Your peas look scrumptious. I want to bite into one and hear that awesome crunch.
Ahh! I can’t believe you’re due so soon! I can’t wait to see baby B. She will love these when she’s old enough to, you know, chew. Ha! 🙂
