Sweet Garlicky Glazed Snow Peas

These sweet, garlicky glazed snow peas are made with only five ingredients and they're ready in a snap, making them the perfect side dish. Just don't confuse them with snap peas!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 pound snow peas
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Sauté the garlic. In a large skillet, heat olive oil to medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté until golden-brown, about 1 minute.
  • Add the peas. Next, add the sugar, soy sauce and peas to the pan. Stir them until all of the peas have been coated evenly with the garlic and oil.
  • Simmer. Lower the heat to medium and allow the peas to cook for about 8 more minutes, or until sauce has thickened. Remove from pan and serve immediately.
