These bang bang salmon bites are a fun twist on Bonefish Grill's infamous bang bang shrimp - perfectly portioned pieces of salmon roasted and topped with a super easy bang bang sauce. This simple, 5-ingredient recipe is ready in under 20 minutes, and you will not be able to get enough of it.
For the salmon:
- 1 pound center cut salmon (cut into bite sized pieces)
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
- For garnish: sliced green onions (optional)
Preheat oven to 400˚F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add salmon pieces to a large bowl and season with salt, pepper, baking soda. Add olive oil and stir to coat the salmon evenly with seasoning. Transfer to prepared baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes.
While salmon is cooking, whisk the sauce ingredients together until smooth.
Remove salmon from oven and toss with a few tablespoons of sauce. Stir to coat.
Garnish with green onion and serve with remaining sauce.
