Grilled Pineapple

Sweet grilled golden perfection. This simple recipe for grilled pineapple is the perfect dessert for a summer night. Top it with your favorite dairy free vanilla ice cream or coconut whipped topping to really put it over the top.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole pineapple peeled and cored
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Pinch coarse salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to high heat.
  • Slice pineapple lengthwise into wedges.
  • In a small bowl, mix the orange juice, brown sugar and salt. Coat the pineapple with the mixture and allow them to sit until ready to grill.
  • Cook for about 3 minutes per side, or until pineapple is tender and charred.
