Easy Garlic Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups jasmine rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 - 4 garlic cloves smashed and peeled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegan butter
  • Pinch of coarse salt

Instructions

  • Combine rice, water, garlic and olive oil in a large saucepan. Season with a pinch of coarse salt.
  • Cover the pot and bring to a boil. Immediately reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow the rice to absorb any remaining liquid. This should take about 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Fluff rice with a fork before serving.
