This refreshing winter fruit salad makes the most of cold weather produce with a variety of oranges, kiwi, pomegranate, apples and pears and a poppyseed dressing.

Ingredients

  • 3 oranges, segmented
  • 3 kiwis, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large apple, chopped
  • 1 pear, chopped
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate arils
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl stirring to coat the fruit in the lemon juice and sugar.
  2. Let the fruit macerate for a minimum of 15 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
