Thursday Things: It’s been a while

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Thursday Things post, and I’ve been up to a lot of stuff since the last time.
1. First of all, my best friend got married, which I’m sure if you follow me on Instagram you already know. Chelsea was a beautiful bride of course, and I’m so happy I was able to be a part of her big day. Every detail of the wedding was amazing. I wish I could share some pictures but I didn’t have the chance to take many since I was busy bridesmaid-ing. The reception was in Miller Park (where the Milwaukee Brewers play for those of you who don’t know). It was super cool and I had a ton of fun dancing the night away with all my friends.
2. Theresa, Sarah and I went to Green Bay’s attempt to break the record for the world’s largest Zumba class. Sadly, we didn’t break the world record, but we did crush the U.S. record by a lot. I had never done a Zumba class before and it was pretty fun – lots of good music and energy to keep me motivated.
3. The next day, Sarah and I went to the Packers’ home-opener at Lambeau Field. Even though it rained all morning, the weather turned around just as the game started and it was a beautiful day. And, we got sunglasses as our free gift! The Packers’ won and we had a great time both cheering them on and celebrating the win after the game.
4. Even though we already went to the local apple festival last Saturday, my mom and I went apple picking today at Apple Valley Farms in De Pere. We picked 21 pounds of apples. 21 pounds! I think we have enough apples to make every since apple recipe seen on Pinterest now – and still have some leftover to eat. First up – salted caramel apple crisp (stay tuned for the recipe).
Have a great weekend everyone!
