This past weekend, my mom and I drove to Two Rivers to visit an alpaca farm for National Alpaca Farm Days. I know it sounds super dorky, but it turned out to be really neat. The alpacas are adorable and super friendly animals. In fact, my mom and dad are talking about getting some alpacas for their “farmhouse” in Pennsylvania. I’m not sure if they’ll ever actually go through with it, but it would be so fun. Anyway, while we were there, I got a pair of alpaca slippers and socks. Apparently their wool is supposed to be 6 times warmer than sheep’s wool – perfect for the Kazakh winter I will be experiencing soon.
My friend Amanda just started her own lifestyle blog. She’s a super amazing mom of two itty-bitty cuties, and she’s a great writer to boot. I’m sure there will be lots of great stories and cute outfits to come. So go check out Life As I Know It and give her some love.
I’m beginning to think that autumn might be the best time for photography ever. T and I were taking shot outfit shots (that you will see at a later day) and her dog Levon tagged along. She got two amazing shots of her sweet little pup. Seriously, could he be any cuter?
Tomorrow I’m headed to Milwaukee for the day to spend time with Chelsea, and Saturday is my friend Jackie’s wedding. I’m so excited that I’m actually here to celebrate with her. Plus, my sister is a bridesmaid in the wedding so I can’t wait to see her looking pretty in her dress.
It should be a fun weekend. I hope you all have a great one too. See you next week for more recipes and fun stuff!
