Paris, France | Love in a Suitcase

It’s been so long since I’ve done a Throwback Thursday post. Between moving to France and getting ready for Baby B, I haven’t really even considered it. Luckily, we haven’t been doing anything of interest lately so I figured that now is the perfect time. The images in this post are from when my friend Sarah came to France for a visit in 2011. March of 2011! That was over three years ago. I really cant’ believe it. It’s not going to be very wordy because I cannot for the life of me remember the order in which we did these things. I’m just guessing here.

Macarons, the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe.

Dinner at Refuge des Fondues – a quirky little fondue restaurant in Montmartre where they serve you wine in baby bottles. The food was not that great. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for anything other than entertainment.

We hit up most of the major sights – Notre Dame, the Louvre, etc. – you know, touristy things.

We even found Shakespeare & Co. – I had attempted to located it on previous trips, but I never managed to find it. It was literally right there, and I had no idea!

We attempted to go to the Petit Trianon, but somehow we managed to miss the stop of the little shuttle we paid to take. But, we did see the rest of the beautiful grounds.

A really long line and more Eiffel Tower.

Of course, there were so many other things we did on this trip, and so many other memories. Too many to share (and maybe I don’t want to share everything). But, the trip was so great, and it was really amazing to be in such an awesome place with such a great friend.
