I have been suffering from some serious writer’s block lately. I mean, the minute I sit down to write about a recipe, my mind goes completely blank, which is weird because I’ve been pumping out recipes like crazy. I have so many I want to share. It’s terribly depressing for a food blogger. All I want to do is share some these awesome recipes with you, and here I am struggling to come up with a way to tell you about it. So what am I to do when the words just aren’t coming? Keep things simple. And, this recipe, my friends, is one of my simplest to date.

I told you on Instagram, that I was working on a new recipe for Jones Dairy Farm, and that the recipe would be a breakfast for dinner recipe, right? Well, guess what. That recipe is a pizza. A delicious, savory breakfast pizza. In preparation for that recipe, which you’ll be get a taste of next week, I made some quick and easy homemade pizza sauce.

It takes only 5 minutes, and it’s the perfect balance of tang and garlic. All you need is a boring can of tomato sauce. You know. The kind that you’re not entirely sure what it’s meant for. The one sitting on the shelf with the canned tomatoes masquerading as an almost pasta sauce. It makes the perfect based for pizza sauce because it’s so smooth and already seasoned (but, not quite enough for our liking). All we have to do is add a little garlicky zip and a dash of basil and oregano.

This recipe makes enough for two large pizzas. If you only want to make one, feel free to freeze the leftovers.
