Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend? I know I am. Marc is home from work early today, and his mom is visiting this week, so we’re planning on taking Ellie to a pumpkin patch and corn maze. Then, Ellie’s second birthday party is tomorrow. Her second birthday. What is happening?
Unlike her first birthday, I’m making this one really easy on myself. I’m only inviting my parents, Marc’s mom, and my sister and niece. That’s it. I’m making a little spread of food for us to eat and the “party” is going to be at noon so Ellie doesn’t have to sit around all day looking at her cake.
Anyway, back to this drink. I’m so excited to announce that I’ve been asked to join Drizly’s Top Shelf Blogger Program. This drink is so delicious. The gin pairs so well with St. Germain and the grapefruit juice. It’s almost perfection. Maybe it is. I think I’ll have to make another to decide. Either way, it’s definitely worth a try.

- 2 ounces gin
- 2 ounce St. Germain elderflower liqueur
- 5 ounces grapefruit juice, (the sweetened type)
- Seltzer water (or club soda)
- Combine gin, St. Germain and grapefruit just in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until chilled.
- Strain into lowball glasses with ice and top with seltzer.
