I stocked up on books to read while I’m traveling. Of course, I’ll be finishing up The Goldfinch, but I also purchased The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane – based on a recommendation from my hair stylist – and The Flavor Bible.

This DIY memory box is a pretty cool idea. I still have my day planner from high school where I wrote down what we did almost everyday, and it’s pretty cool to look back on one in a while. This is even better because you could put photo prints and other keepsakes inside of it.

These cane chair makeovers are beautiful. I think I’m going to keep my eyes open for one – or maybe even a set – when I’m thrifting this summer. These white ones are nice too (scroll down to see them).

I ordered myself some Vinylux nail polish. It’s made by CND – the same people who make Shellac – and it lasts 7 days. It also only requires 2 steps and no UV light machine. I got a manicure with it before we left for Thailand and I think it actually lasted 8 days. I ordered Lobster Roll and Hot Pop Pink, which I think is the same color I wore in Thailand. I’m so excited to try it out at home.

I made you a list of some recipe ideas for the Super Bowl.

P.S. That gray door there on the side is the entrance to our old apartment here in Kokshetau. Lovely isn’t it?
