Homemade Baby Food: Beef & Sweet Potato Puree

Ingredients

  • 1 16-ounce sirloin steak, cubed
  • 3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 cups reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 2 sprigs of fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring the ingredients to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 – 25 minutes – or until sweet potatoes are soft.
  2. Remove the thyme stems, and transfer ingredients to a food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth.
