Ginger Pear Cocktail

Ginger Pear Cocktail - ATEASPOONOFHAPPINESS.COM

On the Fourth of July, we stopped for a drink before going to the see the fireworks in Green Bay. I ordered a drink called a ginger pear cocktail and it was amazing. Everyone was teasing me for ordering such a fruity drink at an Irish restaurant – the same restaurant that inspired my Irish Beef Stew – but the joke was really on them. Everyone tried it, loved it and my sister even ordered one of her own.

The secret to the cocktail was the ginger beer – which I guess the equivalent of a really strong ginger ale – but you could definitely substitute ginger ale. In fact, when we ran out of ginger beer I picked up a bottle of ginger ale to replace it.
