How to make a frozen hot chocolate with ice cream

Measure your ingredients. No need to have everything measured and ready before you start adding it to this blender. This is a measure as you go kind of recipe.

Blend everything. Once everything is in the blender, blend on high until the ice is crushed and everything looks smooth.

You want to keep the texture of the ice while still incorporating the dairy free chocolate ice cream. If you blend it for too long, it will turn to pure liquid, so err on the side of caution.

Garnish with vegan whipped cream – or vegan whipped topping – and top with crushed candy canes or peppermints.
