Last week, we went to Le Dix Septieme – a new gastronomic restaurant in Angers – with our friends Julia and Braden. The restaurant has a special ‘formule menu’ during the week which includes an amuse bouche, appetizer, main course, dessert and another round of small desserts for a single price. It’s located in the city center in what I think is a converted old house, and the first floor houses the kitchen and a bar where you can watch the kitchen in action. We didn’t get to sit and watch because we spent too much time actually eating dinner so the kitchen was closed when we went down, but next time we go I’m not going to miss it.

We had delicious food, amazing wine and a great time. Plus, the service at Le Dix Septieme was fantastic. I’m not sure if the menu changes, but that would be great since there aren’t too many choices. Either way, I think we’ll definitely be going back someday.
